Job Description: BWSC is seeking a firm-wide Director of Aviation. This is a newly created position.
The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for guiding the operations of BWSC’s aviation program and coordinating, managing and developing the aviation design and implementation processes.
The Director will develop programs to maximize BWSC’s potential in gaining new clients and the retention of current clients.
The Director must be able to provide accurate evaluations of market conditions and recommend aviation marketing plans to company leadership.
The Director will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and must be willing to work primarily from BWSC’s corporate headquarters in Nashville, Tenn. Alternatives may be extended to exceptionally qualified candidates.

Job Requirements: • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline,
• Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer,
• Ability to obtain registration in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Georgia within three months of hire date,
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in the aviation field, with experience ranging from primary to general aviation airports,
• Working knowledge of FAA programs, regions, circulars, and standards.

• AAAE Certification preferred.
